Service Description

Whether you've got a posh potager, a handful of herbs on the windowsill or a handy farmers' market, fresh vegetables are a joy to cook with. Join Linda to explore recipes and cuisines that put seasonal veg centre stage. Weather permitting, we will be harvesting fruit and veg from Mrs Portly's kitchen garden and orchard before bringing them back to the kitchen to cook. This class is vegetarian and can be adapted for a vegan diet on request. Tea/coffee/welcome cookies and lunch are provided, along with all ingredients and materials, recipe sheets and aprons. All you need to bring are a couple of lidded tubs to take home your creations! (And possibly some stout shoes.)
