Service Description

With energy costs soaring more and more people are turning to pressure cookers to save money. Pressure cookers have evolved since the days they hissed like a steam engine and threatened to explode all over your kitchen. And they're about much more than brown food, however delicious that can be. Join cookbook writer Catherine Phipps, described by Nigella Lawson as the queen of pressure cooking, to look at the pros and cons of stovetop and electric models and discover a wealth of fabulous, energy-efficient recipes you can make in minutes. You'll get a sneak preview - and taste - of some of the recipes in Catherine's latest pressure cookery book, scheduled for release in November. You'll also have the chance to buy copies of existing Catherine's books, including her two earlier pressure cooking bibles, or to get your existing copies signed by the author. This demonstration class runs from 11am to 3pm and you will be sampling everything Catherine cooks. All you need to bring is an appetite!
